We are so excited to launch Engaged WPG’s educational and inspirational blog. This space will be your one-stop for anything wedding related from start to finish. Whether you're planning an elegant affair with 300+ guests or an intimate backyard cocktail party with a handful of your closest friends, we here to guide you through it.
We understand that not everyone can afford to have a planner guiding them through the journey and on their wedding day…. But that doesn’t mean you should go through the wedding planning journey alone! At Engaged WPG we truly believe that helpful, honest, and up to date information should be readily available.
That’s why Melanie Parent Events and Tricia Bachewich Events have teamed up to provide couples with education and inspiration through this blog, freebie checklist, workshops, E-book and an annual boutique wedding show.

Our E-book is 30+pages filled with information, tips and tricks. This digital download walks you through each area of the wedding planning process. We discuss the first steps you need to take when you get engaged and when you should book your vendors. We provide information on how to choose the right venue for your event, we show you how to breakdown your budget to make sure you work within your means. We go over wedding day timelines, Style and Design and include tips on how to book the right vendors and what additional cost to look out for.
* We also included a section of preferred vendors if you're local to our market as a special bonus to all our Manitoba couples!

Do you prefer in-person learning where you can ask questions in real-time? Do you want to see Style and Design mockups in real-life? Do you prefer to touch and feel the materials, the flowers, the stationery… Then our Planning with Pros Workshop is for you!!! Tricia and Melanie go over everything that is included in the E-book, but allow you to ask questions, get feedback and tap into our expertise specifically about your event in-person. Consults cost $150 when done one on one, so this is a huge opportunity to pick our brains and chat with other couples at a very low cost!
